is the only means of getting possible upgrades is to max out a matching player char to level 70? wish there was a drop down for vendors and crafting for follower gear at least.
Maxing out a Follower is not really necessary. Their DPS is not going to help much at higher levels. Gear with the wrong main stat still works. A second Hero doesn’t have to be level 70 to Enchant gear to the desired Main Stat. The only Follower specific gear is the Token that always rolls with the correct main stat.

i mostly solo, because IRL interrupts too randomly to be able to team often. hence wanting to get upgrades for my follower.
If you wanna gear up Enchantress, just create any INT class at lvl 1 (Wiz, WD, Necro), and re-roll craft items for it there.
Same applies for Templar gear, but create a STR based class.
