When I used another token on the follower than immortality they could only survive in high GRs if it was with a pet build using the enforcer gem.
If the enchantress could survive in S36 in GR 148 with a DH without enforcer was it because she also benefitted from soul shards?
You need to roll life on hit on several items + to maximize attack speed + more dex or str for armor ( actually, caldesann’s augments with dex or str + optionally with vita ). The main problem is that without Enforcer on your char, followers die anyway in highest Grifts. Another problem if they die even once you lose all the Altar/potion/shrine effects which isn’t good at pushing.
Might be connected to the fact that in push Follower wears Shrine gloves, and when it dead you lose the 10 minute effect.
I use Immortality token on all my Followers, even on Marauder, Inna, WD pet pushes, so can’t confirm anymore.
Whenever a Follower gets downed, they will immediately cut all ties for emanating effects with you. So yeah, when you allow your Follower equipped with Nemesis and FoT to get downed in combat, you will lose the emerging Elite spawns from Pylons and double duration effect, both. I reckon same apply to other emanating effects like Homing Pads, Gloves of Worship and so on.
There are a few extra things that you can make them equip besides the usual Guard, Esoteric and Enforcer combination to make them last longer in combat but there are always a few drawbacks for those. For example; Pauldrons of the Skeleton King could help them stand a little bit longer but that means you can not parry RG attacks or stand in the Oculus circles with Homing Pads’ town portal bubble. You can also make St. Archew’s Gage work but that is only limited to non-Season where you do not have Altar, yet we all aware that in Seasonal, Gloves of Worship is a staple part of Follower setups and not meant to be equipped on your character.
Just tested. Pressed potion and got a ten minute speed. Then dismissed the follower immediately and the buff disappeared, not even giving what would be left of a two minute buff. JackOfArms is right.
