All it takes is force all players to reset paragons
is this too much to ask blizzard?
Or pray that after season ends this issue doesnt make people loose 10000-15000 levels.

Some people gained more paragon in past 4 days than for entire season thanks to this exploit.
Almsot every public game i enter there is some exploiter…
Its not that hard to fix it, so when the hotfix?

Players that did not log in during the downtime were not affected at all.
Others did hit reset and started over on Season Paragon.
Your ‘solution’ would wipe out the points of legitimate players.
Furthermore, this is not a Bug Report, and you have already posted this in General.
I do not think that what he meant was to strip players of their paragon points - just to force what happens when you hit “Reset” on the paragon allocation window. So all that would be lost is paragon allocation, not the points themselves. This way you would retain what you already “earned back”.
And I’m pretty sure there are some logs (otherwise we wouldn’t be able to perform a rollback, would we?) that can be checked whether a player logged in during the “season downtime” and exclude his toons from paragon reset. Now, I do not imply that the whole thing can be done with a simple database query, but surely should be doable in some not-very-complicated way.
Yeah - just tried that myself… You need to use the Reset button on each of the 4 panes… did not lose any of the paragon points that I have earned since the start of the new season.
And it does remove the “excess” points (the negative paragon points) allocated.
I mean press the reset button on all players, not to wipe all paragons lol
But it would be nicer if cheaters were wiped too
Its not that uncommon for people to play fav game at 5pm on sunday, there are even casual players exploiting this
I had one account do that. Like you said just hit the reset and put the paragon back in. WOW is that so hard.
How is this a exploit? Some people really have no clue on what they are doing in the game. Be lucky you got back your stuff.
Plus I played with two people yesterday that were complaining they lost half their stuff. Maybe did the wrong rollback.
We have 4 accounts in the family 3 out of the 4 had transfer they stuff to NS. Plus even deleted stuff too. We all got back our stuff even the deleted stuff. The only thing we all lost was a little Paragon.

But to answer the OP’s question, S33 only has nine days left. So the exploit will be gone no later than that.

Im not even reading your replies anywhere, i dont even know exactly who replied here in this 1 comment above, just saying…
support in my ticket specifically said that it is a bug and i should post in bug report forum and they WOULDN’T rollback my account so devs can track bug down. That means it is better not to reset anything, since it is a part of the bug. But what else can i do, i want to play… Profit.
Well they only said that, but the fact is there are not going to be any bug fixes or updates to the game, so they only said that because they were told to say it.
They are not going to fix anything.
CS job is scripted.
Soo i know this, and thats why i said reset the paragons for everyone, when someone else said that helps with the negative paragon issue

When i see exploit abusers i leave the game, and guess what, i have seen many parties looking for the last person, and they didnt even start without the full team of 4, kept waiting and waiting untill everyone quits, or they are playing at slower pace when some random newbie who cant play this game joins them instead of me.
How is that Profit exactly to loose time playing with bad players?
If we met, you will loose time, because im not going to play with you, and i can make a huge difference in team play.
There are some people like that, im just saying me as example.
But anyway when someone is a bad player, nothing not even bug abuse can help, its not “profit” when someone cant play
I agree that they ruined leaderboard, similar to infinite damage bug. But people just had fun and took that as a surprise seasonal theme. Not everyone managed to use that, that’s like a drop chance for uber unique or zod rune. Just have fun, don’t hate people for blizzard mistakes.
