Fix the broken interaction

Shadows 2 piece is absolutely breaking Nat’s set indirectly through what appears to be a non visible 6000% multiplier to trap damage.

Need it fixed asap lol, paragon 1300s doing 150s in 2 minutes already :joy:

Really? N6S2 is still viable combo despite Shadow 2p bonus being changed specifically to prevent this?

yep they didnt change it lol

They appear to have just changed the description on the set, it still works the way it did previously. I am guessing this will be fixed when the patch actually goes live.

This fits under the ptr bugs report forum better. Thats where they are going to look for bugs that need fixing. And is already reported over there.

Let’s see: so when they actually do fix Shadow, the correct thing is to run Chanon Bolter + Demon’s Demise, right?

So instead of a 61x multiplier from Shadow, you get 3x from Chanon. 61/3 = 20.3x damage, which is about 19 tiers worth.

Of course, without Shadow you can run both Crimson and Aughild, so maybe it’s only a 16-17 tier difference.

Just sayin, even without optimizing stats or high paragon, I still completed a 140 without shadows. Its still strong, just takes a litttle longer.

2.20 min 150s @ sub 2k… what tier is it? 155 - 160s?

Without crimson or auguilds it cleared a 145 last night, it’s fairly strong

I’m at GR143 non-season Crimson/Aughild. It can go higher. I’m testing area damage now.

167.2!

The 150 clears aren’t from S2, they’re from the legendary gem that goes in the helm. It resets your potion every time you gain a new paragon level. The inclusion of S2 in those clears is a red herring.

Hmm, interesting…

Are you supposed to be able to take all 3 potion powers at once? The guy in the video Corn linked below is getting both Triune Circles and Pylon effects from his potion.

Yes. They all are independently triggered by using the potion.

But the gem is only available during the darkening of tristram event or not?

So the live version would not be affected.

Geez, I had not realized that, though now that I think of it, it’s the only thing that makes sense since there is no way to deselect a power once you have selected it, right?

Here’s a list of all the effects I could see being triggered by the guy using his potion in that video:

0:02 - Conduit Pylon and a Green Triune circle - guess the potion will cause both of these effects at once?

0:30 - Channeling Pylon and an Empowered Shrine and a Blue Triune circle- maybe a bug? Doesn’t seem like the potion that gives you Pylon or Shrine effects should give you both at once…

0:58 - Shield and Channeling and a Purple Triune circle- probably a bug, right? Doesn’t seem like the potion ability ought to trigger more than one Pylon ability at once…

1:29 - Channeling and Conduit and a 2nd Shrine effect (can’t see which) and a Green Triune circle - this time getting 2x Pylon powers kind of makes sense, since his potion goes off cooldown right before gaining a level. So he can hit it once right before the level, and a second time after the level. But: in that case, why is there only one Triune circle, rather than two? Maybe only one of those can be active at a time? Or it’s a bug.

1:46 - Channeling and a Purple Triune circle.

1:55 - Not a use of a potion, but as soon as he enters the second floor his two Shrine abilities disappear. Pylon powers remain in place. Almost certainly a bug- if Shrine powers are supposed to vanish at level entrances, Pylon powers probably are meant to as well. Or, maybe neither is meant to vanish.

2:05 - Channeling and Fortune Shrine and a Green Triune circle.

2:21 - Channeling and Enlightened Shrine and a Purple Triune circle.

2:52 - Power Pylon and Purple Triune circle.

I think that’s all of them… good grief. There’s so much confusing crap going on here that I don’t even know what might count as a bug, and what is intended. But I think I’ll repost this synopsis over in Bug Report, can’t hurt.

The pylons / shrines potion seems to benefit from Flavor of Time and Gloves of Worship powers.

Ideally they need to do one of the following;

  1. Put an internal cooldown on when the power can be activated

  2. Remove Conduit & Shield from the rotation

  3. Remove pylons in general from the rotation

  4. Nerf blood flask on the necro, it is breaking it even further lol

  5. Change the potion power to something completely different

Wonder why nobody reads the Known Issues blue post in the PTR announcement.
