This affix seems to cause issues with the DH using HA DA with GoD. The slowdown in the dampening field rapidly increases the number of piercings to where the damage is somewhat ridiculous…it is also the cause of many requests to “nerf” the DH. A better solution would be to have missile dampening not only slow missiles down, but also reduce their damage (as they are moving slow. Dampening could also reduce or eliminate the chance for piercing as well…again due to the slowing affect. This would keep the “power” of GoD using HA DA and yet bring balance from GR Shopping to find Missile Dampening bosses
