There are a lot of nice features. I had played with it on the OW forums, but rarely had time to spend posting there.

Huh, neat. It will take some time to get used to the new look. Not a bad thing, mind you.

Very hit or miss. The UI is confusing and ugly, but the ability to see a live preview of your post is a welcome addition.

The true downvotes are now read only in the old forum, now we have to make a disagree post and upvote it…

The D3 team had nothing to do with the forum change. This is an effort by the Web Support team who already migrated all the other Blizzard forums to this software. I would not read anything into the change at all. Good or bad.

Sure, I get that. But I’m sure the teams talk to each other from time to time? I guess I am optimistic today. I am however still holding out to see their next move with Diablo related news.

The forum migration was not coordinated with the Diablo Developers. It was coordinated between the Web Team and the Community team (Nevalistis, etc.)

I am sure the devs are aware it is happening vaguely, but it really has nothing to do with them.

While older forum necrobumps will no longer be possible, there will be new necrobumps once threads age on this forum… and becomes more obvious…

Ok, new forum is here. That’s good news I guess. The only thing is that a lot of good, useful information on builds and game mechanics as well as other things that were easy to find in the old forums are now only accessible if one intentionally goes to the old forum website. And while that means no necroing for a little while, all that useful information is, for all intents and purposes, gone.

I’m guessing that migrating old content is not an option here?

Several of the Guide writers are making new threads here to migrate the work and continue it. Nevalistis is working with some of them as well to assist as needed.

I am migrating the Cosmetics thread from Items and Crafting. I am cheating though and took someone up on the offer to format it for me! It takes a bit of time to get the formatting changed over and cleaned up.

Give things a week or so, and see if the threads you like show up in the new forums.
