Few crafting materials

This season it is easy to collect many Death’s Breaths. Make your follower wear the Sage’s Plight and you’ll recieve tons of them.
BUT
Wow! Now I can use the 3rd recipe of the cube more many times! And… waste more and more Veiled Cristals, Arcane Dust and Reusable Parts. Oops.
I have now Paraggon lvl 400. By now, I should hace hundreds or thousands of them, but actually I have 343 Death’s Breaths and… 12 Veiled Crystals…
So, where or how can I farm them?

Farm T16 rifts and you’ll have a ton of death breaths before long. Each Elite you kill will drop 5-6. As for the rest of the crafting mats, nothing has changed. As for the rest of crafting materials I still like T16 rifts and always hit the weapon racks for white items to convert into Veiled crystals in cube since I always seem to run low on them.

Edited Post after Meteorblade pointed out my original misreading in OP’s question.

OR, not OF.

It’s unclear if OP is asking how to farm more DBs or more white / blue / yellow materials.

Do bountires - crafting mats from them. One of most efficient ways is to go to the areas where there are lots of weapon racks (Eternal Battlefields, Road to Corvus, etc…) and farm the white item drops, salvage for reusable parts. Use Kanai’s Cube to convert these into veiled crystals. More efficient this way because 1 white item salvages into 5-8 reusable parts vs. 1 yellow salvages into 1 veiled crystal.

Thank you Meteorblade. Missed that.

As stated above, run bounties or run places like battlefields of eternity and pick up every single white you see. Whites/greys salvage into many more then just 1 material and using the cube you can change the reusable parts into veiled crystals as needed.

There is an easier way to get white items. Each time you create a game, at least one vendor in one of the town acts will be selling a white item. You may have to check all the town acts, till you find the vendor with them. There is a few cube recipes to convert crafting materials. So you can put that white item into the cube and convert 100 yellow or blue parts to a 100 white parts.

That’s backwards thinking. It’s more efficient converting reusable parts to veiled crystals than the other way around. You farm 12 white items, salvage into 100 reusable parts and convert to veiled crystals vs. farming 100 yellow items, salvage into 100 veiled crystals, to convert to reusable parts… Doing it your way you would be starved for veiled crystals.

Instead of taking time remaking games and visiting vendors, go to the Battlefields of Eternity - one trip around the edges and hitting the ancient weapon/armor racks you have an inventory full of white items.

More often than not I find I am low on reusable parts rather than arcane dust and veiled crystals.

This is mostly because kills usually only give you magic and rare items and so does Kadala.

White drops from kills are very rare (rarer than legendaries, isnt that funny?), so you actually have to actively farm common items or reusable parts themselves. Whereas arcane dust and veiled crystals you just sort of farm while doing rifts and gambling, without making it a conscious decision.

Usually I am low on white parts than the other 2. Every rift I leave with an inventory of yellow/blue items to salvage. More than enough to salvage, been doing this method for many seasons. Your way works as well, no reason someone couldn’t do both methods to stock up on parts.

No need to remake multiple games, just find the vendor and buy as many of the white item as you need. I would add in a screen cap showing this but forum will not let me. https://i.imgur.com/CPJirSw.png

It will if you know how…

  1. Copy the URL to the clipboard
  2. Paste the URL into your forum post
  3. Highlight the URL in your post
  4. Click the </> button in the editor
  5. This will turn your URL into pre-formatted text
  6. Whilst not clickable, the URL will be properly formatted so others can copy / paste it like this… https://i.imgur.com/CPJirSw.png

However, sometimes someone comes along and does this sort of thing for people…

Hmm will give it a try. Was not letting me earlier, believe not high enough user level.

Using the method I just described, posters without Trust Level 3 can create a non-clickable link that isn’t mangled (i.e. without extra spaces and so on). Go ahead, try it. Edit your post with the link in it using the method I’ve shown.

At minimum the same “vacuum” effect that picking up gems have should apply to dropped reusable parts/arcane dust/veiled crystals. When they were limited to stacks of 5000 I can understand why they weren’t, this is no longer a concern.

Ideally they should be treated like gold/globes/blood shards and picked up without clicking.
