Seriously the page should not be random. They should drop the ones your missing… i tried so long now to get page 4 but no chance…annoying !!!

I think the portal opens at 4 pm jan 3. you can collect pages early.

I don’t know what symbol you’re referring to. Unless you mean the red pentagram icon on the Act I World Map.
The Cultist Pages are part of The Darkening of Tristram Event. But, you can start collecting the Pages on December 31st.
Collecting all 7 Cultist Pages will earn you the Achievement I Sense a Soul in Search of Answers.
The Portal to Tristram does not appear until January 3rd. (Sometime today).
If you haven’t completed this Event previously, don’t forget to start with a Level 1 Character to jump through the Portal.

Is there any point to these Diablo (1) legacy blues like the Godly Plate or Empyrean Band? Because the armor didn’t even unlock any new transmogs that I noticed.
No. At least not that I’m aware of. I believe it’s just part of the nostalgia.
In the original D1 there was the base item. The prefix and the suffix determined what Properties that item had and the Stats of those Properties. Like Godly Plate of the Whale. (If I remember correctly).
The Empyrean Band was a Unique Ring that was offered as a Quest reward in Single Player Mode.
In this D3 Event, they’re just Magic (blue) items. I always salvage them when I’m through with them.
