I appear to have reached my limit of Fallen Heroes (10) but, after playing Hardcore for quite some time, have better geared Fallen Heroes which I would like to keep instead of a few I’ve archived (e.g. non 70s) but for the life of me cannot figure out how to delete a Fallen Hero to free up its slot to save a new one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!!
In-game, right-click on your portrait frame and choose View Profile. This will have a fallen heroes section showing the HC heroes that have died. You can delete the fallen in that window.
I do not see where I’m able to delete a Fallen Hero.
As an example, I’m looking at my lvl16 hero - HardcoreMyr - and don’t see where I’m able to delete him to open a slot.
True. They can only be viewed there.
From the Select Hero screen, select a current Hero, then Shift + P.
This profile view will allow you to delete the Fallen Heroes.
What I did was archive the fallen heroes. This frees up the slot w/o deleting the said hero (you have a hall of fame where you can see them still).

I finally figured it out - the ‘Delete Hero’ button is unavailable unless you are in the Game Menu (the button is gone if you do this by right-clicking your portrait while in-game).
