Was in a full party and we all teleported to Gardens of Hope 1st Tier. Saw the mysterious chest and opened it with everyone next to it. Only two wings dropped and no one in the party had them before. We triple checked.
The only thing I can think of is maybe because we’re on console and the drops are limited? Same thing happened last week with the Liv Moore drop. We were all in Weeping Hollow and killed it but only two dropped. Pretty confused.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
The SPAWN rate of all Mysterious Chests is not 100%… However, the DROP rate is 100% all the time.
Not sure with console, though.

I’m surprised even two dropped. I might be wrong, but I thought only one drops at a time if there is a player who hasn’t received those Falcon Wings yet.
If that’s truly the case there is some very confusing information out there. For example, I’ve read plenty of threads when a player sees the mysterious chest, he/she will invite others to join and everyone gets wings when the chest is opened. Same thing for cosmic wings, no? Also, hasn’t Blizz itself said the wings are 100% drop? Why would it be random for all people in the party? Why would (should) console be any different?

I just invited a friend after I found the chest and we both got the wings.
Nice. I just can’t seem to understand how only two of us out of our party got it and not the others. I guess I’ll never know. I doubt Blizz will look into it. To them, console is a wasteland of modded gear and cheaters I guess. );
That’s definitely not true on the PC version. When I found the chest I invited three others and all 4 of us got the wings.
The same has been true for me with any of the other cosmetic items. As far as I know, at least on PC, everyone present should get the drop. Sounds like it might be another one of those console bugs. There seems to be an alarming number of reports of those popping up lately.

If I find Princess Lilian after all this time in my group and not everyone gets the wings from here which are supposed to be a 100% drop, especially me, I would probably drop D3 for good. I know that sounds dumb but I’ve invested a lot of time in this game like many others have.
Blizz’s silence in the console bug section only makes it worse.

Doesn’t work that way. Only players that were in the game when the rainbow portal opened can enter it.
