I’m attempting to get the “Everybody Loves Shen” achievement and I can’t get 3 of the conversations to appear (The Hunt Continues, Leah’s Soul, and God or Man). I’ve played through on several characters and can’t get them. I’ve read up on it extensively and nothing has worked (ie. I’ve attempted to start the previous quest and play through, checking at every step). I’ve also started new characters and played through with no luck.
Anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks,
DJ
EDIT:
Ok, I got it to appear. Here’s what I did. I started working on other conversation achievements (Vecin Kvetchin specifically) and while I was doing that, I checked Shen each time for conversations as well. In Act II, there are some conversations about a gem that I didn’t have (and they aren’t on the Shen conversation achievement list), and those are required to progress. Hopefully this will help others.

You ask if anyone has any ideas, but you don’t say what you are missing, and what steps you are taking to trigger the missing conversations.
Also, this is not a help forum. You should move this thread to general discussion or the new player help forum by clicking the pencil icon beside the title of your post.
I thought I covered that:
And…
Again…
I’ll move it to the appropriate forum though.
Thanks,

You do understand you should be in story mode?
There used to be alot more web resources concerning D3 Achievements.
You don’t need to make additional characters.
You just do what the info says to do.
Yes, I’ve tried it in story-mode as well as tried non-seasonal and seasonal characters. I’ve come across a few other people who’ve had the same problem. For some, starting the quest before [the conversations should be triggered] worked.
Thanks,
DJ
All conversation Achievements are story mode.
tho, you can get some individual achievements otherwise, stick to story mode and you’ll profit.
Yeah, I wasn’t clear. I was always trying in story mode.
It’s interesting that some npc conversations can be missed out, when you’re not in town at the right time, and some npcs conversations have everything triggerd even when you finished an act.
I also had problems whit Shen back in the day. What i did was going back to town more frequently, not just when i finished a quest, or the game requierd me to go back.
So when chain questing, go back to town when you’re done whit a portion of the quest all the time, and you won’t miss out on conversations more likely.
Also play trough on a nother difficulty, when he’s whit you from act 1
I did a complete walk through the other day to make a sort of movie. I was working on the conversations to get the achievements I had missed. It’s not a howto just a movie sort of.
