Seems a bad one (again)
Why does Blizzard hate EU players so much?
It’s achievable without any problems.
I let myself die on the second attempt so as not to validate it, but I was on time.
US is not great, but very doable once you get going. Slow but destroys Elites.
It’s not that bad. Just keep away from enemies. And fortunately there’s a shield pylon right by the area you’ll need it (near the very end where there are multiple elites to give you the necessary time buff you’ll need).
This is the moment I decided not to validate it
The build on EU is awkward, I still did it on first try (yes, I died once).
What’s funny is, most EU players think their region of CR is the worst without playing US region; same apply to US as well. As far as I see it both regions have their share of devious players and people usually assume troll builds galore in Challenge Rifts without trying to understand any mechanics.
They should have tried Asia for the past few seasons. Now, this season seems fairly easy, but the past several seasons of Asia were horrific. We’re talking about barely anyone passing them.
I don’t know about anyone but first two weeks of past few Seasons of EU CR were very doable. Waiting a week in case you fail is not as bad as people think it is.
That’s not true, NA challenge rift this week is extremely easy. As long as bone armor is up 100% there is no way to fail it.
Agreed. Very easy US.
Spam skeletal archers and use siphon to restore essence. The first maps splits, and you should chose to go downwards (there’s 3 elites). Second map has a conduit, right at the door and is linear with decent density. There is time to kill 2 elite packs and some trash with the conduit. Third map is an open festering which is great for density. I didn’t use golem at all, but I use revive most of the time to spawn enemies to protect me.
Don’t you have to spam revive and mages too? (On EU). MadTom’s video is great. Filthy Casual and a streamer called Jesse Hamilton (the diablo 3 guy) have good videos too. Cpt. Honorseeker failed because he didn’t use mages, but he may upload a new one. Haven’t tested myself.
Doesn’t seem exceptionally bad.
It’s called Challenge rift, and there is some challenge involved. If you know how to play the build, you will likely do it first try. If you don’t know and don’t like adapting your playstyle to new type of build, then challenge is much bigger. It’s totally understandable if not everyone likes the whole concept of CRs, but it doesn’t make this exact CR bad.
Luckily there are nice people doing videos for every CR, and you can also find people to help you with it if you play multiplayer.
Even if you play SSF, you can group up with others for the Challenge Rifts, FYI.
At least you could.
Sorry, yeah, meant to say skeletal mages. They have the skeleton archer rune, If I am right. Revive is also good since the minions act like a meat shield.
More likely my mistake then, not having looked at the names of the skills used.
Good advice… unless the challenge rift is so bad that all members constantly die
One other thing about the Challenge Rift, is that if you’re saving the Cache, you don’t immediately need it. Even if you fail several times and take 30 minutes to run it, 30 minutes at the start of the season vs 30 minutes Sunday night means nothing. But from a season start perspective, not running the Challenge Cache will be slightly more efficient.
I wouldn’t mind having the full 15 minutes
With best guides to level new seasonal characters 1-70, the Challenge Cache is not needed. Just do bounties act 2 on T1 to get lvl 18+, gold for upgrading Blacksmith, and 1 Flawless Diamond to open the seal Anointed - items have no level requirement.
