I can’t believe that the ethereal weapons are disappearing at the end of the season 24. I spent hundreds of hours farming them. For each character, and did not realise this was just a ‘theme’. If I lose all those items. I will never purchase another blizzard/activistion title again. Nor will I play any of the games. Also I will be asking a refund for the 15$ i just spent on the necromancer, which I purchased this season ONLY to get the etherals for the character. My own ignorance is the issue here, however there should have been more of a notice given, made apparent, made visible, upon loading the game, and reading the new season information, “that these seasonal etherals will not be there after the season ends”, and they did not, and is a major let down.
Get over it and see you next season

Clearly stated in the patch notes, in no way does that count as “fine print”.
You’re paragon 1075. if that took you hundreds of hours you’re doing it wrong. I got to paragon 2400+ as pure solo and I didn’t reach “hundreds of hours” this season.

Nah, I am doing it right. I just never got the etheral I want to drop for my Inna’s monk, and so I ran 100’s of rifts over and over and over, at 3 min rifts per rift. I did the time, and feel that I am being slapped in the face.
Another person who does not keep up with the information or the blogs, just to cry later. 
I came into the season late, so sue me. And not everyone reads blogs. I am only posting here, because blizzard, has horrible customer service, and I can not even make a ticket on it.

According to this it would take 13 hours to reach your level playing solo with no xp buffs running grift 100:s in 3 minutes and with 30 seconds downtime between runs.
You did it 15+ times slower.
You’re clearly doing it wrong.
Wow your not getting the point. I did not run these rifts for my Paragon rank, I did it for the etherals. Nor did I say I ran 100’s of hours in the last few weeks ALONE, playing this game. I never once said I was ONLY running rifts. I said I have spent 100’s of hours playing this game. There is more to it than just rifts, and you know this. Please stop being a nuisance.

Yes and I clearly stated in my first post, this is due to my own ignorance, so yes. But it should have been a “highlighted BOLD TYPE Italic Font” on the seasonal page where it explains the seasonal theme for the ethereal weapons that they are also being removed at the end of the season, not all of us read the blizzard news.
FYI: The shards in Season 25 won’t transfer either.

Spend hundreds of hours finding drops, expecting to keep them. Not being informed otherswise. It should have been made more apparent. Then tell me not to feel slapped in the face. That’s a poor defense. “I’m sorry your honor, I had no idea I couldn’t just take the TV and walk out of the store, it wasn’t written in BOLD text that I couldn’t.”
Its more like… “You’re honor, they left the door open, and said I could have the TV, then right as I was leaving, they called me a thief and denied ever letting me have the TV.”
No it’s not as it’s clear as day written in the patch notes that they are temporary. Patch notes that are clearly advertised in the launcher no less.
