Error, primal ancestral items cannot be equipped

I’m playing Season 29 of Diablo 3, and I have several pieces of primal ancestral sets, but it won’t let me equip them. What’s the cause of this error?

You can equip only one crafted primal (using the cube recipe) at a time.

Normal primals have no restrictions.

Unfortunately the recipe doesn’t tell about the limit. Back in S28 when the recipe was introduced it was at least stated in the patch notes and people could easily see the info there. However it was recommended multiple times by the community that Blizzard adds the info to the recipe to avoid situations precisely like this. It still hasn’t been done.
