Finally someone states what I feel. Been playing this game since day one and am so disappointed in Blizzard. I understand this is an older game but if you’re going to update the game with new seasons and you want people to continue to play your game then make the game PLAYABLE.

this error started yesterday for me, and usually tooks 3-5 minutes… i cant even do gr because i get kicked off
Season 22 suck keep getting Code 1016 killed 2x of my hardcore characters … im done season 22 unless they roll back my characters
We have had constant error 1016 since starting season 22. We have excellent net, great ping, no packet loss that I can see. No proxy server, have disabled firewall and all antivirus and every other stupid thing the troubleshooting guide suggests. We have zero problem with any other online games. Can’t even complete bounties half the time, let alone try for a hardcore seasonal character.
This is absurd. It’s pretty obvious that it thinks the connection has dropped when it hasn’t. Normally what happens is that the launcher first indicates that the connection has dropped, then about 30 seconds later I get booted from the game. I’ve tried killing the launcher after starting the game, but the error still happens.
Really glad I’m not dumping $15 per month into WoW too, if they can’t get this fixed.
