Error 10014 & Worst Support ever. Somebody address

I keep getting error 10014 on any chat option in Diablo 3.

Long story short. I own D3 and D4 under another email address in perfect standing. D4 came out on steam awhile back and I bought D4 on steam, which made a new blizzard account under my current email.

I see D3 was on sale so I decided to buy D3. on this new account. Keep in mind I havent logged in or played d3 or d4 on my old account since creating the new account.

Now since I bought D3, all I get is error 10014 on any channel. So I decided to dig up my old account info and log in to verify if I was having any issues, Lo and behold! I can see chat just fine and talk.

So the issue is something within my new account and support keeps closing the ticket and marking it as resolved when nothing is resolved!!

I have to ask this are you running both accounts on the same computer? Or two different computers? If you are using 2 computers I would test both accounts on both them. We have four accounts in the family. I can run them all on the same computer.

What I would try is if you haven’t done this uninstall everything from the computer that giving you the problem. That is if you are using 2 computers. When I mean everything even the launcher too. Then reinstall everything again.

I have the same issue and it seems like nobody really is interested in solving the issue.

Would be great if a Community Manager could confirm if this is a known bug.
