Hi i just want to share idea about endgame in D4

We haven’t decided whether the character leveling and experience system should be finite or infinite. We’ve been discussing the pros and cons of both and would love to hear your thoughts.
Why not merge both finite and infinite ? If you are casual player lvl cap is 99 (like in immortal d2) you play endgame looking for new powerful items trying new builds.
And as a casual player it is fine with you but later on you want lvl 100 and more you feel that your build can destroy enemy with lvl 147 or 160 but.
There seems to be some concern around infinite being worse because it will eventually overshadow all the power granted by other sources. .(…)
Yeah like in d3 this game has no sense playing story mode or just exploring for fun and searching for legendary items when paragon lvl 1000 can taxi me one run and i have stash full of legendary items
We believe the more important question is what experience feels best for players, and we can playtest various approaches to tuning to find the power curve that makes the most sense.
If you want infinite game experience you can turn it on after lvl 99 and unlock leveling but with HARDCORE MODE only .
No more leveling in afk holding one mouse button. Farming like mindless zombie and burning out after few months and get bored no new patch no new item will change it (look at diablo 3).
Just think of it
A level cap gives us the ability to grant players a sense of completion. But for players who want to go deeper into the game, a second experience system allows us to capture the fun of achieving those really difficult endgame goals and ranks.
when you see a guy with lvl 210 and you are 99 you think this guy have some balls and skill not only lots of time.
And as a money making industry when you die in hardcore you can resurrect but only with real money more deaths more money or resurecting your character requires long grind for mythic item (maybe something like Stone of Jordan in diablo 2).
HIGH lvl = high skill or lot of money not only free time make game for 10 years not for 10 months.
but pls dont make another diablo 3 only fast run no fun.
