End user license agreement

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is a bug but I just purchased Diablo 3 on PS4. As soon as I press start button End User License Agreement pops up. Even when I read all of it I cannot continue to play a game.

Can you please advise?

David

This forum is for reporting game bugs on a PC on the Live server. You probably want to move this thread to the Console Bug Report Forum.

Or better yet, you can move it to the Console Discussion Forum and see if other console players can help you with this. (I’m not sure if Blizzard responds in the Console Bug Report Forums).

Moving Threads

  1. Click the pencil icon next to the title of your thread. (See image below).

  1. Click the "Category" field to bring up a list of D3 Forums. (See image below).

  1. Find the proper Forum and select it.
  2. Save your edit.
This will move your thread to the selected Forum, including all replies.

hahahah, hahahaha, hahahaha, hahahah…don’t be silly!

Did you buy the game online via the Sony store? Or via disc? If the latter, is the disc for your region or not? If it’s a disc that’s not for your region, I don’t think you’ll be able to install…always be careful when buying a game for PS4 as a physical disc and 2nd hand…

I’m on PS4, but it’s been so long since I installed the game, I honestly can’t remember what happened during the installation process.

yes I bought it via Playstation Store. Actually I played this game before when I lived overseas and now I purchased this game again as I came back to Europe. Since then it does not work. I changed region a nothing happened . I create a ticket to Blizzard and they said have to talk to Sony as this is not on PC but they still didn’t help me even they tried. So I believe an issue is on Blizzard side.

@OP as well, posting in here can’t solve any account-related issues (both PC and Console versions). Bug Report and Console Bug Report forums are for reporting bugs only, not solving issues. No supports here.

Console licenses and servers are hosted by console manufacturers, not by Blizzard. Same, technical support is provided by the console manufacturers, you should contact Sony support as Blizzard support told you to.

You may post on Console Discussion forum to see if other console players know how to solve your problem.

Edit: this is an article found earlier: “How to Change the Region On Your Nintendo Switch (and Play Games from Other Countries)”. It is for Switch but may apply to PS/XBox as well, IDK if that helps.

Thanks for your explanation but Sony are not able to help me as well even they gave me some advice nothing worked out. I moved this topic to correct forum( console) Is anyone here who dealing with the same issue?

Thanks

David

If your PS4 main account is US, Euro, Asia or Japan or China

you need to get the same game region regardless of that account for it to work

these are the few ways to get around them.

  1. If u main Japan account but yr game region is everything else but Japan just create an account with the region you just bought

  2. You can get refunds (only if you never use them before) just report to SONY on that you got a wrong region game. They will refund the money back to your credit card. ( D3 is like a pretty old game IMO so you should get the refund regardless even if you plat the game LOL)

  3. D3 eternal is on offer now on PSN less than $20 if you dun want hassle & think you want to play D3 even at S50 do consider buying again

  4. Contact sony support directly about this, tell your long story explaining than request to switch region, ( I dun want to get you high hopes but I did this with other games) so in the end I got the credits in my main PSN account to purchase just that game & I still manage to keep my existing wrong region digital copy. Almost the same as 2) but for you to consider.

you cannot change region if your account is Euro it is euro but if your sub account is Japan & your D3 is Euro just make sure you primary your whatever account before purchase or download in future
