A suggestion for the season buff would be to allow the items on one of your followers to emanate even in multiplayer. For the most part, they are just farming/utility items (with the noted exception of Flavor of Time) so I don’t think it would be all that overpowered, and slightly less powerful than having your follower actually with you in multiplayer.
Just a thought.
The whole purpose of the follower rework was to reduce the gargantuan gap between solo and group play. So definite “no” for this suggestion.
Besides, the Asheara’s set works in multiplayer. Use it.
No, please, don’t. For once in ever us solo players get something and groups immediately want to take advantage of it to become even more powerful.
Well since you can’t (as of yet) have your followers in multiplayer, I doubt it will happen. But the ability to get double deaths breaths, extra rift keys and gems from your follower will help a bunch. (I really don’t like playing follow the one that can move the fastest rifts) Solo play is all about grinding. Grinding for gear, rift keys or to augment your gear. That little boost from the hireling will help a bunch. Especially for Hardcore since the hireling will free up a better skill with their cheat death abilities.
My point is that there’s not a huge advantage to it and as of now there’s no seasonal buff. I don’t get why there’s so much hate against multiplayer. I play mostly solo and I’ve never seen a reason to cry about it. And who would honestly use Asheara’s other than for novelty? That’s such a petty response. There’s virtually no incentive to play multiplayer this season as of now. You can make the choice to play solo or multiplayer, it’s not as if you’re forced to play either. If you only play solo then your opinion on a multiplayer buff is somewhat invalid.
