Elite Damage Math

I am using “The Furnace,” which increases damage against Elites by 50%. If I add “Bane of the Stricken,” which starts at 25% damage to Elites, does the damage add, multiply, or only give 50%.

In this case, it Adds. But the 25% gain is only on RGs and Bosses. Not all Elites.

powerfull, not stricken, and yes they add each together, not like cooldowns… i mean in example, if u have the furnace 50% + unity 15% + SoJ 30% + bane of powerfull 15% u can have up to 110% elite increased damage

Thank you, both of you. Both of your answers are very helpful.

Furnace, SOJ, Unity and Bane of Powerful Gem all have Elite Damage modifiers(which are added together). This modifier also applies to Rift Guardians/Bosses and in that specific case, whatever your cumulative %Elite Damage happens to be is then multiplied by 1.25 if you have Bane of Stricken Gem. Meaning if you have Furnace in cube and have Bane of Stricken Gem, your damage against Rift Guardians is 1.5 x 1.25 = 1.875 or 87.5% above what you’d normally do against Trash(normal monsters). Higher the Elite Damage, the greater the damage against Rift Guardians and makes Bane of Stricken a pretty powerful gem if you can stack up the %Elite Damage.
