So I’m trying to figure out if I can handle echoing nightmare… Does anyone know what torment it would be equivalent to at level 150?
You don’t need to go up to 150, the gems stop at 125 so if you make level 126 or 127, you’ll get the max gem.
As far as torment level, I’m not really sure but I think if you can run a GR 110 or so in 3 minutes or less, you should be fine to get into the 130’s in EN’s.
It depends on your build. For example if you can do GR95 in 3,5 mins with Fist of the Heavens crusader you can get to 125 but 100+ should be piece of cake which is what you should aim for your first set of augments.
So I definitely shouldn’t try since I’m only running in torment 8…
And you also play hardcore…
Raxxanterax made an updated youtube video a week or two ago about how to run echoing nightmares. It covers both soft- and hardcore. But you need a reasonably good build with a good amount of toughness. Don’t play hardcore myself.
Yeah, you would be just wasting petrified screams. Of course you can try but remember that gem has to be at least rank 80 before you can use it for augment. If gem is lower than that you will have to level it up manually doin GRs. To get gem to rank 80 you’ll have to be able to do GR85-86 at minimum (GR89 for 100% chance).
Of course it’s a big risk to even try in hardcore.
No you don’t, you only need to be able to do 79 for a 60% chance to upgrade to 80.
Anyone know what kind of damage is most common in EN? I am looking to try in HC for the first time with my lvl 900 paragon DH, and really want to play it safe so I don’t lose my char.
Are the green meteors psn dmg? If so, wouldn’t an ideal strategy be to wear or cube Mara’s so that you are immune to psn?
Is fire dmg also common? If so, I could wear Mara’s and cube the fire immune necklace or vice versa. I’d love to be immune to the top 2 damage types in there.
No, they were specifically changed to be physical damage so that their damage couldn’t be bypassed by using one of the elemental immunity amulets.
Big variety. It’s more about utilizing cheat deaths and if it gets too scary, just run away until it triggers “Overwhelmed” and ends.
The Valor Crusader is notably good on these because they can run flavor of time (equipped OR on follower if solo) which makes the CHANNELING pylon insane because you can refresh Akkarat’s CHEAT DEATH everytime it proc’s by refreshing the ability. On top of of course your natural cheat death plus follower one.
All that being said, best thing you can do is try not going past 125 on hardcore for sureee.
WORTH NOTING Even if you get them sub 125 you can still level them from GR’s like normal lego gems, so actually hitting 125 isn’t even that important.
Also remember that the Templar’s heal can benefit from cdr on gear. Like Crimson set, Leoric’s Crown etc.
if it is physical damage then maybe I want to use that leg gem that reduces physical dmg. but only if it will actually reduce the dmg. I heard that it is a flat 40% of your HP with each hit, so would it be less if i have physical dmg reduction, or do my physical dmg reductions not matter if it is just a flat %?
At least you have a softcore DH where you can try out different things.
