Echoing nightmare pylons

what do you thinking is the best order to trigger the pylons in a EN rift and at what level

all of them at the same time at lvl 100

Every class/build will have their own preferences as will solo v. group. And normal and HC will probably have different strategies. In HC with my Shadow Strafe + Impale DH I like to grab the Channeling pylon fairly early so he doesn’t run out of hatred. Then around 100 grab Power. Around 120 Speed. Then, depending on how things are going around 130 when the goblins pop grab the Conduit and attack the goblin shrine. But if I’m on one of the maps with a lot of choke points I’ll grab the conduit around 120 as well and just aim for hitting 126 to get the best Whisper.

Try it without using them at all, for a test of how good you actually are.

Depending on the build and where you actually want to end up it can even be kind of whatever you want.

The rax video explains it best though. But I just kind of tend toward the speed pylon from the start and once you don’t have to wait for enemies to spawn I get that and pretty much all the rest within a few seconds. Having a follower with FoT and only needing to get to 126 means you might need to do some effort in the last few levels but can probably just wait a tad longer. I do them with my UE Multishot setup I use for T16, so non optimized in some areas and wear Boon of the Hoarder and Goldwrap as in T16 and like 2-3 pieces of gear are augmented and its not a problem to reach that level.

In other words, “hold my beer?”

I’ll point out that these are pointless in ENs as none of the mobs drop gold. This was deliberately changed from the PTR to prevent you gaining huge mitigation from using them. They changed the meteors to physical damage for similar reasons, i.e. so you couldn’t wear an immunity amulet.

I take speed when I am nearing 100, so I can avoid the meteors more easily. And I take conduit last. The other order doesn’t matter much to me, I take whichever I am near, as we only need to get to 126 now.

Best bad tip of the month. From the best player ever, it’s surprising.

i dont understand? Do you literally have trouble getting to lvl 100? i mean how could you not accidentally get to lvl 100 using even the most basic geared T16 farmer?

And then at 100 the pylons just carry you to 125 and that’s all there is to it.

Are you literally struggling somehow? Are you actually really strategizing the pylons or something?

i usually take speed at 100, and other at 110, i usually likes to reach near 150 so i get max bloodshards, only takes a couple of mins to reach it

Looking at the profile it is the usual lying.

It’s not his main profile. He’s so good that he doesn’t use it, so as not to be annoyed…

I stick to my statement. Why hide the profile when it is easily accessable.

He has five lvl 70 season heroes with full sets in five different classes, 1K paragons, highest gem at 113 and two lvl 125 augments showing. So he has accomplished something.

Not sure why everybody is piling on Bravata(actually, I do but that is not the point here). I hit them all at between 95 and 100 and have yet to fail to get to 126(the highest practical level) on my DH, Monk or Wizard. The order does not matter, although I tend to hit speed or channeling first, whichever is closest. Since they nerfed the EXP, there is no reason to try and reach 150 anymore. Now do I think they screwed up nerfing this… yes, yes I do. Not sure who on the dev team thinks nerfing this was necessary. It wasn’t. Sorry, but the bandit shrine is just not worth the trouble, given that it isn’t even guaranteed to spawn. The EXP was worth the effort and should be restored in a future patch.

I hit the resource at around 80 speed at 90 lightning or power at 110 and last at 115

I generally wait until level 100 or so and then i hit up the power, and either speed or channeling pylon depending on whats closest. From there i decide whether i need the other. As mobs begin to repile up, i hit the conduit pylon. In most cases i am at or nearly at 125 at this point and the main problem is to not be stupid and get clapped by meatballs which i personally have accepted i have a genetic disposition for walking into said meatballs.

O yeah, I am aware of that. I mentioned that part to point out that I reach 125 without an optimized setup and just the normal T16 build. Having Guardian’s instead and a legendary gem that actually does something would help but I keep putting off equipping that and saving in the armoury.

Well my guess is they didn’t want it to be a source of mass XP and just a workaround to the augmenting time. Which is fair, it still serves a good purpose.

Or they weren’t able to change it so that all members in a group require one (or didn’t want to put in the time). And that would definitely be necessary if the XP stayed the same.
