Echoing Nightmare feedback

If you don’t plan to give us any extra rewards for going over tier 150 in Echoing Nightmare all monsters should despawn and Nightmare should automatically end when tier 150 is reached.

Don’t you get more XP the higher tier you clear?
Is the XP capped at Tier 150?

Yes it is capped at 150.

Echoing nightmares are just boring.

Maybe it’s a good thing the XP is capped at tier 150 since there seems to be a bit of an exploit. When you’re about to get overwhelmed, lower the difficulty to oneshot the entire screen.

Expect this to be fixed.

Why was immunity to Frozen, Stunned, Rooted, and Knock Back given to the Echoing Nightmare monsters? It’ll make some builds less viable, such as H90 Frenzy barb. Besides don’t the monsters gain crowd control reduction or immunity at tier 100+ anyway? They do in GR100+ I believe.

Also think that was a bad move. I see why they wanted to do that but there are still more important issues with the theme.

usually monsters gain CC reduction gradually at any level of play. which however after a certain amount of time (with no interaction with the monsters) resets again.

If there was a higher chance to spawn Goblin Shrine after tier 150 maybe it would be enough to keep us pushing.

I haven’t played EN and I already know that I’m tired of the timed progression. Why can’t be that you continue until you die, period. Isn’t that overwhelming enough?

That would pretty much eliminate the hardcore player base from the season theme.

Exceptions should be made for hardcore. Deaths in EN shouldn’t be permanent.

Hardcore players will most likely play solo with 2 min Shield duration.

This was my initial thought, too. But then I realized it’s not really hardcore at that point because you still get xp and items without risking death.

A much better approach would be to give an escape option via a ring or door or whatever that allows the player to “push their luck”.

I don’t see a reason why TP should be disabled. Or another quick way of ending it. If you wait out the bar and get overwhelmed, you don’t die, so why not be able to just TP out and end it? Or an exit?
