Says the guy who hides his profile and repeatedly pushes partial information.

I never took much stock of the net like/dislike in the old form nor the new forum. By analogy, I can advocate for eating a well-balanced diet with reduced red meat consumption, but if I make the case in the Texas BBQ forum, you know the type of response that I might receive… It doesn’t mean that I am wrong or the response is reflectively of broad opinions.

I chose to hide my forum profile because it does not matter how many posts I have viewed or the number of likes that I have received. The merits of what I post should be judged by the posts themselves.

Is there some information in my forum profile that you want to know?

My character/career profile is here. You can hover over my name to see my battletag

My agenda is facts and truth.

I do not need to main a barb to look at the current and historical leaderboards to see how barbs have been in comparison to other classes and also to look at the patch notes that document game changes. As I said repeatedly, barbs are currently the most underperforming solo DPS class and Blizzard should buff them.

What you are trying to hide is the fact you are a DH and WD main with no real Barb expertise which is evident based on your toons. You clearly have an agenda and it is unwelcome.

Profiles are not secret and are easy to find still. You just have to know how to look.

For anyone you want to find, just hover over their avatar and it will show you the full battletag including the number associated with it. When I reply to someone, it also shows the Btag at the top of the post reply window. Plug that into the web address template above. If the person is EU, sub “eu” where it says “us” or “kr” for Asia.

Which proves you are a troll as that is an exact analog to what you are doing.

A more apt analogy would be you going into a Texas BBQ community and making assumptions, generalizations, and overall misleading statements that only muddies the conversation the Texas BBQ people are trying to have.

Congrats on being right that a diet of only meat is unhealthy. However, that’s not the discussion and that’s not what anyone else is even talking about.

Type it somewhere externally first if you need to write a monologue.

Don’t need the button to return. What we need is actual consistent moderation that learns about the users in the community and does something about those who intentionally mislead with malice or instigate.

For example, those who just love to happily tell us they haven’t played the game for years and we’re all simple-minded fanboys for having any sort of positive view of D3 or a valid critique of D2. I can think of at least a half dozen “regulars” who’d be shown the door pretty swiftly were this the case, and in the end you’d have discussion more fixed to the given topics than the d*ck waving that follows.

A little less “See what PoE is doing?!” or the people who work on it there wouldn’t hurt, either.

I disagree with your first sentence. But well said and agreed on the rest of your post! :+1:

Shouldn’t that be a thumbs down :-1: to be consistent with the theme of the first post? :sunglasses:

Haha it will never come back and its a joy to know them D3 nutt huggers cant dislike what they dont like to see

I agree with you on the whole, but yeah I don’t really like the idea that just because I admit I play other arpg’s, I’m going to be downvoted.

People who come in here bad faith of D3 shouldn’t be here(like even before you add moderating into the mix), but it’s not a crime to like/discuss other ideas from other games. Especially, since we don’t have a D4 forum yet. I like reading theoretical debates in ARPGs.

Honestly, I think I dislike the idea that 3 people might’ve upvoted you just because they hate PoE more than just agreeing with your views. Just seems like a foreign concept that there’s good things in most games.

As long as users are adhering to the CoC, whether or not others are offended by their opinions should not matter. Forcibly suppressing opposing criticism is fascist.

No ones saying to ban anyone.

Having an option to ignore fake news is not fascist.

It turns out what some people claim is fake news is the truth.

You can ignore posts you do not like even if you can not hit the dislike button.

That seems like Yes to me

It also turns out that what some people claim is news, is lies.

Told long enough, lies become the truth.
