Bad RNG for primals for me. In the time that I’ve leveled 5 gems to 140 and 2 gems to 100, 1600 bounties collected and all those shards at kadala, I’ve gotten 4 (x2) primal drops.
That was all the ashes I needed to get some good Nilfurs for my wizard pushes and a primal Yangs for my farming.
Soloing GR140 at P1200 on wizard with no augments and non-optimized gear is just stupidly stupidly OP.
I have 17 petrified screams. If I decide to augment my wizard gear, I could easily do GR150. But I’ve already done it in a previous season and being able to hold 2000 bloodshards instead of 1900 isn’t a big deal.
Maybe all the people spending 10+ hours doing Chiltara kills should give up on the double primals, augment their gear and start doing 2 minute GR150 group runs like everyone else.

I for one would like to know where you are getting this double primals from all I can find are “Z Double the chance to find a legendary item purchased from Kadala.”?

And yes you need to whole thing unlocked before so if you only got 4 primals then you do not have it unlocked!
You have a chance to get them when you unlock the entire altar.

2 of my 4 double primal drops came from Kadala. So I think that comes from unlocking the altar and not coincidence.
Correct, that is what the blog says: “When a primal item drops, a second random primal item drops as well.”
To unlock it you have to click on the portrait at the bottom of the Altar.

If it does not activate just reboot your system. I did not receive my Diablo wings until I did a reboot.
Better 2x drop chance then 2 drops, primal chance is 0,4% of legendary, if the chance change to 0,8% or 1% we would finally got good primals, they could add more chance to find primals after each rank of gr 90+, that will add another reason to do high Gr.
Also, 1 primal limit from cube recipe is not enough, that need to change from 1 to 2 itens so u can make primals on both weapons and weapon/shield/off-hand.
I feel like they ninja nerfed primal drops. did 6 hours of farming 120s today with no drops. 120 is the sweet spot for me on exp per hour compared to drops per hour

Well, they both amount to exactly the same increase in primals received, so I don’t really understand your argument.
Got 6 primals in 3 grifts (so, sub 10 mins), so I would think it’s the same answer as always, RNG, rather than any nerfs.
Nope, it appears to be the same but it is not, 0.4% means that u get 1 primal in 400 legendary but u could be lucky or u can drop 1000 legendary and receive nothing, that is how rng works, if chance change to 0.8% u will get one primal in 200 legendaries, better drop chance is better because rng can tricky players.
And that will be just as true at 1/200 as it is in 2/400.

I am torn between doing Bounties (double Bounty Mats), or doing GRs (double Primal drops).
I opted for double Bounty Mats.
I would say, at worst, no need to reboot your PC, just restart Diablo… 
for the guys that unlocked double primals, if you gamble at kadala, does she give you 2 primals for the price of 1 gamble too?
Yes, if she gives you one you get one random primal for free. In fact, I’ve received most of my trash primals from Kadala. But then again, I’ve spend maybe 40-50k blood shards.
