Does the seacon start? I still cannot find avalible season now.

Asia Region has started but not the others.

Europe in 6.5hrs.

Americas in 15.5hrs.

Season starts at the same time for everybody, every country at the same time. It is not possible to be started in Asia and not in the rest of the continents.

D3 has never done this, it has always been 5pm in the region, Never the same time all around.

Blizzard is in North America… on the West Coast. I live in North America on the East Coast. (Same country, same continent).

When the Season starts in Americas: 5 PM PST. That would be 8 PM EST for me. (Same country, same continent, different times – Well, technically, when it’s 5 PM PST it will be 8 PM EST).


If I want to play in the Asia Region, that would be about 4.5 hours ago, 5 PM KST or 3 AM EST. I can play on Europe at 5 PM CET, which is 11 AM EST my time.

But, I cannot play on the Americas Region until 8 PM EST tonight.

(Are we confused yet?   )

Summary:

  • Asia Season 30 starts at 12 AM PST this morning.
  • Europe Season 30 starts at 8 AM PST this morning.
  • Americas Season 30 starts at 5 PM PST this afternoon.

I say that describes perfectly if I had to play on a console. That’s why I play on a PC. :rofl:

It can still be confusing.

As seen in the Season 30 Blog that @Avalon linked, it simply says:

The Lords of Hell. Starting on January 12 at 5 p.m. PST/CET/KST

I have a bad habit of seeing the 5 p.m. and immediately associate it with “Blizzard Time” (PST or PDT).

I have to convince my brain that it’s:

  • 5 PM PST
  • 5 PM CET
  • 5 PM KST

If you play on all 3 Regions, you would have to convert the times to your time zone. But, as @Jazz pointed out:

That’s something that  I  did not know.

I love playing on console. Huge OLED TV, 7.1.4 surround sound sound, relax on a couch, good stuff.

Mostly everyone cheats on console so seasons is meh

I don’t care about leaderboards for that reason, console or not. I just play because it’s comfortable.

I honestly don’t understand why they start so late in the day with these new seasons. Here on the east coast we have to wait until 8pm.
