Was playing around with Arcane Orb builds and wondered if the equipment bonuses for Arcane Orb applied to the “fiery ball” from Storm Crow? I’ve read that it shares a recolored model of the no rune Arcane Orb, but have not seen anything that confirmed or denied its synergy. Thanks!

Yes very much so. Could as well reword it to “100% Chance on pickup that this item turns into a Forgotten Soul. Ancient or Primal Ancient versions yield 3 or 15 times that respectively.” … lol -.-°
I mean, it’s called Storm Crow… so either make it a Storm Armor or Blizzard item that’s useful. Preferably Storm Armor. But maybe they will slap the Sanctified power on it, once the season is over, that is. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal and it would not make a good item either, but at the very least the effect could do something then…
I would probably rework the hat like this:
Storm Armor gains the effect of every rune and Scramble now also triggers whenever you attack with lightning damage.
That’d work, I think. Funny for the item to be good, it has to grant every rune AND something else. That’s how terrible Storm Armor runes are >.< It’s just negligible how much damage Storm armor shocks do when skills have 20,000% multipliers.
True, the damage part of Storm Armor is pointless which makes damage related runes like Thunderstorm, Reactive Armor or Shocking Aspect pretty meh. Well, at the very least, two of them can help a bit to trigger Karini. Scramble is so-so, but it really bugs me that you got to take a hit - absolutely horrible, when Storm Armor itself has ZERO defensive power despite calling itself an armor spell… Power of the Storm is okay, but the others could use a do-over. I mean, like, for example:
What if Storm Armor itself (the base skill) granted a chance to dodge attacks?
Where is a stun effect (electric shock) if you use Reactive Armor?
Why not add a chance for missile scattering/deflection to Thunderstorm?
How about Shocking Aspect makes critical hits increase lightning damage dealt?
Scramble should just flat out increase movement speed by 20%, no strings attached.
But skill/rune reworks are a different story altogether.
I’d be happy with Storm Armor making you immune to Lightning damage. Is that too much to ask?
