Does Nephalem Glory (globes) work the same on Console/PC

Hello, I know that Nephalem Glory buff doubles damage on console.

It was like this because the density on console was (is?) different back in the 360/PS3 era because PCs were more powerful than the 360/PS3 so they reduced density so that those consoles could still run the game.

It’s been a while and consoles are more powerful now, strong enough to play Diablo 3.

Is nephalem glory the same on console as it is on PC or are they still different now? Like does PC get double damage as well?

Is the density/mob spawning different on PC and Console?

Any other information about this would be greatly appreciated!

No.

So PC does half the damage of console?

Or console does half damage until they get a globe? But what’s the point then?

Seems weird that they don’t make them the same? (Parity between console and PC)?

If console does more damage than PC it’s more fun or am I missing something? I can push higher GRs with console vs PC if I’m doing 100% more damage.

Yes.

Differences between user interface, perhaps.

It’s not more fun. The moment you lose Nephalem Glory you go back to dealing half damage. I wouldn’t call that fun.

Nephalem Glory (holes) now that’s another thing.

Actually it’s the other way around. You do double damage on console. I researched it and did tests and it’s PC that actually does half damage compared to console.

Apparently there is more density on PC (though I don’t think it’s as much of a difference compared to older consoles), so to make up for it the console players get double damage.

If you want to test it for yourself go ahead. Make a level 1 char on PC and console and check the damage numbers.

So just to clarify. TLDR

Console gets double damage from nephalem globes which lets them push about equally to PC because PC has more monster density.

That’s actually what I said. You want to deal double damage but the moment it’s over you deal half of it. On PC, Nephalem Glory only helps with area damage somewhat.

Nephalem Glory makes you faster on PC as well. It doesn’t do this on console. It’s a bit odd but it is what it is.

PS I think if I’m running out of nephalem glory then I’m pushing a bad key (either a bad key or too high of a key for my char so it’s “my fault” if I can’t complete it not the games)
