DC’d again, login issues. Same error codes as yesterday

We’re currently monitoring a situation which is causing disconnections for some of our players. I don’t have much info on it just yet, but just wanted to make sure we have a forum up for it and y’all know we’re aware. Thanks for the reports.
For right now we recommend against playing hardcore characters to avoid progress loss.

Hey again all,
We’ve confirmed that this appears to be related to a Distributed Denial of Service attack on Internet Service providers in the area of our servers. We’ve got folks on it now.
Can we give the employees back their jobs, they probably put in a kill command to execute, and you guys thought you solved it last night. But its apparent, it’s not.
Give me back my hardcore he died to this issue!
ive lost 4 greater rift keys cause of the disconectiing i would like some compansation for this inconveince.

why should they give you any kind of compensation? Blizzard did not cause this! As for your hardcore toon… you rolled the dice making one sorry bud!
still experiencing lag. so far no DC.

I am disconnecting CONSTANTLY, as soon as I am done with a bounty and want to claim the cache with tyrial it throws out error 1016. I AM SICK OF THIS SH*T

Is that why i get Error 1016 or this is another disconnect people are getting?
Because Error 1016 doesn’t affect hardcore. I mean that if you play and get 1016, you will not die. You basically just leave game really really fast lol.
Dont know if this is still an issue but I keep getting 1016 every time on last bounty

There is not update on the twitter. So, I assume still going on.
DDoS attack can last for days. You may try other servers (South America, and Australia servers). They belong to Americas region too.
March 17 had disconnect problems season 20- no luck with reconnect. Wed. the 18th season 20 level 71 Barb.( CORNA) no longer part of game. I made a new level 1 season 20 Barb. ( TANKER), again the last space left, and it came with the $, exp.71, no gems, some stored items but L1 Barb.
The resulting L 20 Barb and gameplay is a mix of L 1, and L 71.
I see both barb on your career page.

Hello everyone, not sure if my problem is due to some sort of disconnection or completely some thing else, so here it goes, every time after login in and press play, the screen in to which I’ll be playing it goes away, so I log out and log back in just to find out that the play button it’s still reads playing…game is running, however there is not other window minimize to which I could click on so it could open up. Any ideas if this got anything to do with what is going on with the current problems in blizzard or something else
Code 1016, dced starts right here again. no sure with others
Yep same problem 2 times in the last half hour.
I keep getting DC’d about every 10 minutes. Playing with my roommate on the same internet connection, but it’s just me getting DC’d. Any updates on why it is just hitting certain accounts?
