Disable shared stash?

Is it possible to disable the shared inventory/stash between characters?

I’m trying to do a challenge run, but having the inventory (particularly the gold and crafting mats) from other characters kinda ruins the experience.

Not sure what you’re talking about.

If you mean a Challenge Rift, you get to do one per week with a reward on successful completion.

Your inventory has nothing to do with the CR.

So you must be talking about something else.

Please give us a SS or a link to what challenge you mean!

Nope. If you are trying to level one of your characters from 1-70 without using mats/gold acquired from other characters, you have 4 options:

  1. Manually keep track of the gold/mats you had before you started the new character and only use the gold/mats that character earns or
  2. Switch to a different region and start a new character there. If you haven’t done this before, it will be like having a new account where the things acquired will only apply to characters in that region or
  3. Spend all your mats/gold that your current character is in or
  4. Buy a second account.

Can’t share the leg gems as well? NO…

Option 5: Do it in Hardcore.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

I mean the stash where you dump all the stuff you don’t want to carry around in standard story/adventure mode.

Dang. I thought that might be the case, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.
I guess I’ll just have to wait until next season so I can start again from a fresh slate.

There’s a non-hardcore mode in this game?

You didn’t read my post.

I am talking about what are you talking about?

What is a challenge run???

You aren’t making any sense.

That isn’t an important detail, but just for you - I’m playing a story playthrough and I’ve set myself some conditions to make things harder and more interesting. That’s all.

Shared stash cannot be disabled, but there is nothing forcing you to use it.

This is just a run through story mode.

This is not a challenge run.
There is no thing as a challenge run.
Every Monday there is a new Challenge Rift in the afternoon.

That’s true, I was just hoping I could do something similar with crafting mats. Now that I’m thinking about it, I’d also prefer for the vendors to also be reset. Seems like waiting for next season to start is the only way to do what I want, other than buying a new account.

Thanks for the input.

Why u don’t want to switch servers?

That would be my way. Better as to wait for month and cheaper as to buy a new licence.

This has nothing to do with an in game mode or any kind of challenge already in the game.

A challenge run would serve as the player doing a full playthrough with ‘challenging criteria’ that have to be met for completion.

For example the completion of story mode without the use of any gems or only using rare items. You could do a run with no runes or primary attacks only.

Just because it isn’t a challenge made by the game devs doesn’t mean it isn’t a challenge and isn’t fun.

Maybe get off that high horse.

The OP wishes to make a challenge for themselves, i.e. effectively starting from scratch with no gold, items, bloodshard cap, extracted cube powers, and so on. It’s just something they came up with to entertain themselves. (Similar to when I decided to see if I could get a level 1 hero entirely kitted out with primals).

You could swap regions and have a fresh start that way.

Convenience and lag mostly. I play with friends sometimes, so switching servers is annoying. I also play hardcore exclusively, so I’d be worried about being placed on international servers and getting lag spikes. I’ve lost a couple of characters to to them and it’s just the worst.

It is very easy to not use something unless one feels compelled to give into addiction or lacks willpower altogether.

I, for one, will use the shared stash eventually. I don’t see it being a big deal until much later in the game and then only if I want multiple characters.

Did you do it? As that sounds insanely fun!

Exhibit 1…

When I equip an alt with that gear, I can set the game to T6, and solo level 1-70 in well under 10 minutes. Next challenge might be to fully gear the follower with level requirement removed stuff too.

So basically just wait for the new season to start and create a seasonal character?
