Well they aren’t stupid. The would know that for most p2w games it is not the average player that keeps it afloat but those 1% (just an example) of top whales. You don’t necessarily need every or even the average player to be happy enough with the game to spend $5 a month, you need the few crazy folks who dump salaries.
