In the patch notes, it reads:
“When you drink your health potion, gain a random shrine or the Dimensional Power pylon effect.”
It is a 16 second effect.
Do they describe this pylon in better detail?

It’s just a regular power pylon with shorter duration. Dimensional Power is the formal name of the power pylon buff. Dimensional Power, Dimensional Channelling, Dimensional Conduit, Dimensional Shield, Dimensional Speed.
If you mouse over a power pylon on your bar, the buff is called ‘Dimensional Power’.
EDIT:
It’s the one that gives +400% damage and has a sword icon
now the question is, is that potion still powerful enough to go for it asap? are the circles better?
I don’t think the triune rings worked that well on the PTR. What’s I think more at play is the now buffed damage nodes that rest nearby.
Turns out it’s only +250% damage! I’d been giving incorrect information for years…
Shrine/Pylon potion is still the best of the 3.
You can still get the empowered shrine buff for a big CDR improvement. That’s a massive buff for many builds, including top builds like LOD WOL monk.
I dunno man, 30% damage + 1 progress orb + triune imo sound better than passability + 2xleggos at kadala and shrine potion.
Getting the He-Man pylon is great especially if it can stack with the actual pylon in a real GRRReat! Err, GRRRRIIIFT. Yeah, that Tony.
Not sure what you took from Rage post but he stated
meaning of the 3 potions the nerfed pylon potion is still the best of the 3.
had nothing to do with the potions
Does FoT double it to 32 seconds?
They should have just removed the conduit, not all the others.
It has everything to do with the pathing. Aly is the original asker of the question, and what they are really asking is if going down the right is still the best way after the shrine potion changes and the buffs to the static damage nodes.
Ah, you mean which path to a potion power gives you a better collection of buffs. I was just weighing in on which of the three powers was most valuable, in and of itself. You may well be right that a different “branch” gives a higher initial buff than going straight for potion AC.
I understand the shrine potion is still arguably more powerful but since we might go for the more powerful branch earlier it might be better to use the triune one first and go for the shrine potion second since there’s still a couple of hours of farming in between.
That’s quite possible. I’ve never been much for “leveling up” strategy, so I’ll leave that discussion for other folks.
after looking more into this, even if you go left from CC imunity asap to unlock 30% damage and 1 extra orb, you only need two more nodes to reach the shrine potion (1fr emerald, 30 bounty mats + 20gr keys and 1 ramaladni) so most likely its still better to go for that potion first, assuming you’ll get those required mats way before you get 2 more primals to DE.
TLDR shrine potion still better.
Even if you decide to open your cache you can still get to level 14 and have both potions a few hours into season. So I am really confused why we are having a pathing discussion.
bro if you get 3 primals a few hours into the season you’re a god. It wasn’t as much as a discussion, i was just thinking out loud per se if the first potion choice changes.
The 2x Kadala node will be very valuable early in the season. It’ll let you get rolling with ancients faster.
You’ll have slightly slower rift clears (without extra orb) on a slightly lower GR tier (without the 30% damage), but I feel like double Kadala wins out from an early gearing perspective.
I do think you’re right though, the nerf to the pylon node and the buff to that damage node makes it a more interesting choice.
