Diablo IV - please make Couch-Co-Op happen on PC too!

During today’s latest Dev Live Stream on Diablo IV and it’s upcoming EA/Open-Beta,

once again we were told that Diablo IV is going to have Couch-Co-Op, which is so damn cool…
they also reaffirmed (again) that Controller - Support will be there on PC too…

but WHY is Couch-Co-Op exclusive to consoles?

sry, that’s a real shame … :frowning: so sad now.

I remember playing D3 with my GF together,
it’s basically the only game we ever played together, we had 2 Computers,
2 copies etc just for that… it was before the console version launched…

it was awesome, but also a really stupid idea. we really used the 2nd PC almost exclusively only for D3 )

we would still like to play Diablo 4 together, and soon our son will be old enough for it too,

but we don’t have 2 PC’s anymore,
that’s not going to happen again, and also buying a console just for this, also a no-go…

!!! Please, reconsider !!!

Make Couch-Co-Op available on PC somehow too !

Also PC is more powerfull and will be in the next years. 8k resolutions, higher framerates, raytracing. I will play D4 on powerfull PC connected to 4K TV even thou I have PS4Pro and will have PS5 too probably. Still PC will be faster

Kinda lame there won’t be MKB support for console (at launch they say, but we know how that goes). I know controller works well for combat gameplay but it is nice to have options… navigating your inventory or npc screens with controller sucks.

yeah! Is there any real reason for them to not implement couch coop for PC? Seems like nowadays there are a lot of people connecting their PC to their main TV and it would be a shame if they couldn’t use couch coop.

D4 will support cross-play and cross-progression for console and pc platforms:

My wife and I hope that couch coop will be implemented on PC too.

Still dont know the reason why it should be a console exclusive feature. Makes no sense to me.

I was shocked to hear, that there will be no Couch Coop on Pc at release.
please be fair and share that important feature with us Blizzard.

The vast majority of PC players don’t care about it. It’s a console thing where you sit on a couch in front of a TV and play.

Since you can voice chat and do multiplayer online, it’s not really a thing that the majority of PC players use.

Except PC is connected to TV much more often as a more powerfull console / movie player / multimedia.
I have both PS and PC connected and play on platform which gives better experience

That isn’t the common way to go. It may seem like it for you, but it’s just not how the majority of people play their PC.

they just dont know how to handle dual accounts on pc :slight_smile: And gives more effort then gain.

I have chosen PC version this time, il let wife play on ps5 with me. We have two tvs. Il likely use controller on PC for most of the time and just switch to mouse when adjusting inventory :slight_smile: or classes /situations more suitable for it.

Honestly if i did know for this difference would had maybe got ps5 version instead… but i think il get both anyway. Its bit annoying to pay twice but diablo deserves it.
I have d2 res on both pc and console, as well as d3.

I’m SO frustrated by this. I pre-ordered it thinking couch coop would be a feature for PC too but it isn’t… total BS by Blizzard…

Yeah, I’d really like this. I play D3 with my son on switch, but that’s the only Console I have. Also it’d force them to be serious about addressing the couch co-op bugs that will inevitably pop up. Hopefully they won’t just be ignored like they are for D3.

Well it would able to programmers to came up with a bot that you can have a second char like a aurabot or something with you to boost your overall power in game so I think PC can be exploited but maybe with PS or Xbox anywhere system would let you play on same PC?

Pls don’t call yourself “majority”…And even if, would it hurt you if the PC version has this feature? :slight_smile:

It was a console thing back in the days…in most homes the PC is also connected to the TV via Steambox, HDMI or whatever…and many people play PC games on TV.

Is it with friends who come over on a beer…Or with the wife with a glas of wine…It’s simply another experiance than Online with firends via TS or Discord (both are amazing on its own). :wink:

Couch coop on PC is technicaly possible, so why limiting PC player who want to play this way from time to time?
