i know many would disagree, but how about an option to play the game using a controller? (on pc)
as i became older my gaming spot turned into my sofa and it is way more comfortable in my opinion. (the sofa) =]
It would be cool to be able to use both at any time for any reason.
I do not see controller support being implemented into the PC version. Best pick up a PS4.
no worry for this guy this game is not make for pc but console
this is why the game have only 6 skill vs diablo 2 have i think 12 skill maybe more in the ui
im more leaning to get the next one actually
but it kinda became a standard, almost every pc game today implements controller support, im no game developer but i bet it isnt that much of a hassle, maybe only figuring out a layout.
There is PC controller support:
They will offer controller support for PC, but currently have no plans for keyboard support on console.

awesome! thanks a lot mate!
It’s a bit more than that. Spell aiming and ranging have to be given a viable method of employ by the player, etc. D3 and PoE on console do a remarkable job with that. It’s not impossible to cretae a game that lets you switch between keyboard + mouse control to controller mode. It could even switch the UI to a console-like layout. Granted, you’d have a few limitations due to being limited to controller functions, but it is possible.
Building the game ground up for both types of control methods is a huge boost to accessibility. And for those with good gaming PCs, it merges accessibility (and couch potato fun!) with the graphical horsepower of whatever you have in your PC. For many of us, that’s more horsepower than what even the PS5 or Project Scarlett might bring to the table.
I would thoroughly love the ability to switch to the console layout and control for D3 on the computer. Then I’d never have to worry about losing accessibility again, assuming the game kept exclusive fullscreen mode available to prevent app focus from being stolen (this is a problem as seen with Star Ocean 4 on PC - if a notification steals focus away from the app and brings it out of its borderless windowed (fake fullscreen) mode, controller input is lost until the app is restarted). App focus and not losing it are extremely important to disabled players like myself trying to accomodate disabilities with external software and/or devices. Shame Blizzard still hasn’t listened to us about that with World of Warcraft, which I can no longer play due to the loss of exclusive fullscreen mode.
@Cybernetic: Awesome news! It’s something that really does improve accessibility even if there are a few limitations. Now if Overwatch would just get full controller customization already. ![]()
Playing Diablo or any arpg using gamepad is Self nerf.
But you do you.
It will have controller support. One of the devs said it will.

Yes it is; but unless your running a HC character, or trying to clear max GR’s you really don’t need to be at your full. I have personally played diablo 3 extensively on both the PC AND the ps3, and I would absolutely love to use a controller atleast 60% of the time while grinding.
