Diablo Immortal mouse/keyboard controls

There needs to be a force-move option for keyboard/mouse. If I’m holding my movement key and I press an ability, movement needs to resume after the ability fires. Alternatively, if I’m holding my attack key and I tap my movement key, my character needs to move. I tried to do this “raid” boss and dodging abilities on mouse/keyboard feels incredibly clunky compared to D3.

Other than that, the game looks and sounds great, and using most abilities feels really good. The charge ability feels significantly better than Furious Charge in D3. Anything else I say about the game is going to be extremely negative but I don’t need to even say it because the Diablo Immortal devs already know.

:100:

And stop moving my character when I am attacking, I get that the PC client is rushed, but how could this ever make it far enough to reach release.

Really feeling how awful the controls are as a Barbarian in PvP now. When you have move bound to spacebar, if you press an ability while holding spacebar to move, your character will stop moving after the ability goes off or even just hitting a hotkey overrides your movement until you press spacebar again; you just stand there.

The controls are awful, please improve them.

Absolutely concur! In my case it’s messing up aiming, firing, and hitting what I want. It puts me into increase threat because I’m suddenly moving towar4d what I’m firing at instead of holding my position. Not good.

If it’s not fixed, I’ll stay with D3 as a better game with slightly less graphics.

i use WASD on the keyboard and it accomplishes what youre asking for and feels great

Even with WASD the character (Demon Hunter for me) still tries to move with the attack button. I can only assume it is a bug, because it was pretty awful.

Yeah the mouse and keyboard controls can do with some polish. I assume this is part of the reason they advertised it as a beta client.

I have the movement bound to left click but various awkward things stop it, I think using an ability reliably interrupts it. Using an ability also stops my primary attack and I have to unpress and repress the button to get it to start again.

There are a lot of interactables that require you to click next to them instead of on them to get them to work.

There are also some mobs where you cannot click to move yourself around them for some reason but you can use WASD to move there.

I would imagine we would need to pay like 10$ to get out of beta.
