as a necro my auto attacks are projectile which the enemy can simply side step out of the way and dodge, I’m pretty sure its the same thing for wizard. I’d understand if I was to cast an AoE on the ground and missed my target, that’s my bad, but I’m physically clicking on my enemy and my shots aren’t landing.
however, the demon hunter’s auto attacks don’t miss, they’re not projectile, correct me if I’m wrong, seems a tad bit unfair
can a melee character miss its targets as well? for example, if an opponent is running circles around the melee character or leaping over their attacks etc
as a necro, auto attack can be a main source of my dps and if my projectiles are just gonna hit thin air 50% of the time its gonna bother me, is this on purpose or just somthing that has been overlooked? i mean if every class was like this than id understand however, that’s not the case.
the least that could be done would be to speed up its movement so its more likely to hit its target
auto attacking someone and missing 80% of my attacks is a death sentence
Seems odd. I’ve yet to notice any of my auto attacks from ranged miss. I know I miss when aiming because I lose my cursor. Unless you are just missing by attacking near by instead of on the target, I dunno. I’ll admit most of my play time is on my Crusader. Only leveled a Necromancer and Wizard to 10.
Yes, it’s almost not worth trying to use basic attacks as a Barb in PvP unless you’ve got the target in a CC. Your basic attacks will just miss if the enemy is moving.
Maybe the Blocking Dynamics is at play? I doubt that monsters have that parameter extremely high in order to justify missing 50% of DPS.
Seams more like a bug that Bllizz has to fix sooner than latter.
I want to ask anybody that is using the Hunger Legendary Gem.
I crafted and used that Gem yesterday but so far the main attribute (healing after killing a monster each 20 seconds) is not working. Someone on Reditt complained about the same thing.
Any positive experience with the Hunger Leg-Gem?
Anybody?
would be surprised if Blizzard nerfed the game even more to entice players into buying stuff you watch theyll be listing a hit increase item in the ingame shop at some point for like $4.99 or something
The AI wants to be paid too. It evolves. DI may create the first strong AI in the world demanding money from its players and going after them when not paid.
and before we know it machines will be grabbing anything that isnt nailed down or on fire
You aren’t maybe using the force standstill when attacking? It does happen then even if your mouse was over the enemy when you fired.
