Diablo III Deleted All of my progress... sort of

This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, but I was trying to log in to join a party with my friend and all of my characters were gone. No seasonal, no non-seasonal. Just ‘create a new character’.

When i create a new character my character is lvl 1 but has 135 Paragon points. The contents of my most recent seasonal character’s chest are still in the chest. My season Progress and Altar progress (as well as gold, powers, shops & design unlocks) from my most recent seasonal character are still there too.

Im just wondering if anybody else has ever dealt with this & if they know how to avoid it.

Also no, theres no option to recover my characters. Yes ive tried deleting my local save data.

To report bugs on a Console, please use the Console Bug Report category. You can transfer your post to that category by:

  • clicking the pencil tool under your post;

  • changing the category from Bug Report to Console Bug Report; and
