Diablo 4 Beta PC requirements?

With rumours of a beta start date being announced feb 17th at an ign event, it seems like a good time to query folks on what PC specs they are planning to use to play the Beta,

I’m a bit frustrated that they haven’t announced specs yet as I’m looking to invest in a new PC but don’t want to necessarily pull the trigger too early and end up with a sub par machine. My current PC will most likely not be able to run the Beta.

If anyone played earlier phases of the beta with no issues please share your PC specs. this will help a lot of people.

Thanks a lot for confirming those work with the beta.

Just build a decent gaming pc. Anything with a new gen CPU and mid-range GPU will work fine. Blizzard isn’t known for their games pushing the hardware.

I ran the beta fine on my pc. 3080 12m graphics card, 64g dd5 ram, Intel Core i7-12700K - Core i7 12th Gen Alder Lake 12-Core running windows 11 pro (I built my new pc at the end of July 2022)

u gotta flag this post as trolling for this alone.

why? I could post pictures of it if you like  its a pretty nice system I built it myself

lol i see what i did, ya i guess i can see why you thought i was making a fake post. i just grabbed my pictures of cpu-z and here is the graphic card:

nvidia geforce rtx 3080 code name ga102 - memory 12G (not m as i said above) lol

Ewwwwwwwwww. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Uhhh…why? They stated what their PC was. It also isn’t uncommon to have 64 GB RAM on modern machines.

A PC as high end as that one is bound to play almost anything with no problems, therefore bringing nothing to this thread. It would say something about the game if it played poorly on those settings.

It just sounds you’re flexing a PC that will obviously run anything that you throw at it. No one that owns a 3080 with 64gb of ram would be worried if the game can run on their PC or not. Few games are that badly optmized.

It’s ok calm down… D4 4k settings were tested on a standard 2070 card. I believe HD setting will still work just fine and dandy on older ones.

My i5 7th gen with a 1660 ran D4 fine. But it did better with the 2060 and 3060 too. (yes I had upgraded cards twice within the time I had the game on my system)

Most my systems have 16GB of memory at a minimum, but my main two have 32GB each along with NVMe SSDs.

I had a bit of issue at first till I sorted out the graphic settings a bit, but after that it was fine. At max quality settings, FPS was around 10-12 on the desktop, and nearly 60 on the laptop. 7th vs 11th gen intel for you there. But with some slight adjustments, I could comfortably game at 60-100 FPS, and higher if I dumbed it down further. Higher end cards should do fairly well, and by the time it launches they will have optimized it further reducing the problem.

I just hope my loin cloth can defend against the evil!

I mean ok… that’s for the Press preview only. But damn those are low specs even for the recomended settings. This game gonna run on everyones PC.

I don’t think those are going to end up being the actual minimum specs.

Oh I highly doubt it aswell. But I’d bet it doesn’t go up that much.
