Diablo 3 wont load

When I press the play button, it goes to a white screen and then it disappears and the play button lite’s up again. I have tried uninstall then reinstalled D3 I tried the repair tool and my video drivers are up to date. The other game I have is hearthstone and I am able to play that just not D3. It worked a week ago, I think it stopped when the battle.net updated about 4 days ago.

Hi,

Do you have a Razer mouse and/or keyboard ?

If so:

  • Go to the Documents folder.
  • Select the Diablo III folder.
  • Open the D3prefs.txt file using Notepad.
  • Edit the line with “DisableChromaEffects”. Change the value from 0 to 1… like so:
    DisableChromaEffects "1"
  1. Save the file.
  2. Try running Diablo III again.

Let us know how that works.
