I prefer the controller scheme as well. Except for ground placement can be a bit imprecise.
Please tell me this is true! I got major back problems and love playing on PC in true 4k. Two things I love about a lot of games now is controller support and cross platform. But most importantly I need controller support due to my back pain. Iâll preorder right now if it has controller support on PC
I play a lot on the consoles and the targeting system is nowhere near the PC. I still prefer couch gamepad to PC though.
I feel you, my back issues is because Iâm old, sitting on an office/gaming chair sucks. Hopefully you find relief.
It is true:
Supporting controllers on PC
This is the first time a Diablo game is being developed simultaneously for both PC and consoles, but the decision to support controller input on PC is what caused the greater paradigm shift for us.
Taken from this developerâs blog post:
It is. Pc has controller support.
Same. I tried the PS3 version back then and liked the game. Noticed it didnât receive any updates anymore so I bought it on PC. Was completely bummed about not being able to play with a controller and really didnât like the M+K controls for this game. So I never actually played it.
LMFAO, just because youâre dogsh*t at the game doesnât mean it doesnât work infinitely better with M&K. You objectively have far less precision movement using a controller and since these games actually require aiming all across your screen. The auto-aim is a hard crutch that removes your ability to control your character. Play with an objectively inferior method if you need, to but donât attempt to gaslight others out of ignorance⌠just sad.
Literally just buy a better chair. Learn how chairs function and how they support you so you can buy a chair that gets your old bones the relief they need.
Believe it or not while the program may be a different version, it would still be inconsequential for them to port over or reverse engineer the code they have already written for the same engine.
You forgot to say⌠and pray it costs less than 1k. Sheet that rhymes.
Tell us you know nothing about programming without telling us you know nothing about programming.
I just had to say that i started to play D3 again and i find it almost unplayable without controll. Half of the fun and feeling dissapears with only a mouse and keyboard. Its just my opinion, but im sure someone else feels the same way
I guess its what youâre used to also.
This is a feature thatâs still worth introducing.
9 month Necro, 9/10.
For the users, for the company itâs just wasted resources.
I do believe that statement is rubbish. Thank you for sharing though.
That the facts though. Implementing the feature would require significant resources that they would never recuperate given the game is going on 12 years old, officially retired and the sequel is already released, ergo, it would be a waste of resources.
Steam controller support helps tremendously, i have managed to play D3 on a handheld quite well. Definitely look into this if youâre trying to escape keyboard + mouse.
