Have a iMac late 2013, Diablo3 have been running fine for years.
However after the upgrade to 2.7.8.97428, the game is super laggy.
Ofcourse I have tested to reboot computer etc.
Processor 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel core i5
8 GB memory 1600MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT755
55FB free disc space
OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (latest possible for my computer)
In the ingame menu, background is moving laggy.
ingame it is horrible laggy.
Same problem. Mac Mini 2014 with Catalina 10.15.7. Seems to be good for the newer Macs, not so good for us.
My wife is using a Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.7 Super laggy, graphics do not run smoothly during solo play or on 2-person team. Ran fine before the update.
Same here. iMac 2013 Catalina 10.15.7.
I lowered every settings, reinstalled D3 : no changes. The lagging makes the game unplayable.
I’ve been looking for a way to revert to the previous version and couldn’t find one. I get that fixing a bug for old Macs must not be a top priority but maybe the ability to downgrade would allow us to still play the game.

Guess I would better describe the problem as something other than laggy. Jittery, stuttering or just plain choppy. Although the old problems of inventory display both toon and shared has been fixed.
Just watched her do a T10 rift and she could play it, but aesthetically it was a choppy mess.
Yes, choppy is a better word. Cmd-R tells me 120 fps, my eyes tell me 8-16 fps. To me unplayable whatever the level.
Same on a 2013 “trash can” Mac Pro. For me I found it’s a heat issue that has been causing the chopping. Literally have my tower fully enclosed with cooler blocks and a fan shooting down the top which stopped the issue.
