Diablo 3 keeps freezes my laptop

Hello my laptop keeps freezing while try to play diablo 3. And it happens while loading screen, sometimes 30 mins after playing, sometimes character selection screen but it happens always. I have tried everything I can but nothing helps. I have checked temps, checked drivers, deleted game and installed again. I play every other game without problem only diablo 3 makes freezing my laptop. I start hearing cringe sound after freeze. Only thing I can do is restarting my laptop otherwise it won’ t response. I have windows 10, gtx 965, 16gbs ram. I dont know whats the problem but it drives me crazy.

The only thing I can think of is making sure you have the latest Nvidia driver update. Ma6be your hdd is beginning to wear out? But beyond that my suggestion is to not restart your computer; just press alt+windows key, make a second desktop and move D3 to that, then on desktop one close out D3 in task manager.

I am looking after my temps and they are really normal. Also I have deleted d3 from hdd and installed again to ssd to make sure hdd isnt problem.

And also nothing works after freezing.

I run D3 on a older HP elite-pro with a i7 & a 1gb video card. It never freezes on me. Here you can try this and see what happens.

How speed up your computer

  1. Right click on the Start Button. Then click on file Explorer.
  2. You can click on that and drag it to the desktop and now you have This PC on the desktop.
  3. Now open This PC and on the list to the left, right click This PC. Then click on Properties.
  4. On the page you be looking for Advanced System Settings.
  5. Click on the Advanced System Settings.
  6. Look for the box with the title Performance. Then click on the settings Tab
  7. On the Visual Effects will want to click on Adjust for Best Performance.
  8. In the list put check mark next to the on “Show Thumb Nails Instead of Icons.
  9. The reason for that only being check. When go to look at you pictures. You be able to see them instead of a blank Icon.
  10. Click on Apply and then OK

How to turn off stuff when the computer Starts UP

  1. You want to hold down Ctrl & Alt keys and Hit the Delete key.
  2. Then click on Task Manager.
  3. Then at the bottom left of that page click on More Details.
  4. At the top of the page, you see about 7 Tabs.
  5. You want to click on the Startup Tab.
  6. You will see a list of things that startup on your computer.
  7. This is up each person on what ones you want to Disable.
  8. Once you are done just close the page.

Most of them are already I am using. I have 4gb graphic card. I can play ac valhalla with it without problem. Only diablo 3 causes problem.
