You can re-bind skills to other buttons. Also when binded, you can scroll thru them whit the mouse weel. Or you just have to remember what skill is binded to what button. Never the less, it would be much easier to push the asigned button and use the skill, instead of push the button, than klick whit the right mouse button, to use the skill.
No one is asking for it to be the only UI, itβs been asked for as an option.

Second pic in shows the UI for controller. 4 face buttons plus the RB and RT. LT toggles to a second hot bar with the same 4 face buttons and RB/RT. Potions are used with the D pad. It is quite intuitive and frankly a superior way to play the game.
Pretty similar to FF14 then, save for the fact that you can assign anything to the dpad in that game. My problem would be that 12 hotkeys might not be enough for some toons, especially ones with a lot of support skills or buffs
Because my first ARPG was Record of Lodoss War for the Dreamcast (japanese Diablo 1 clone of sorts) and my first Diablo game was the PS1 version of D1, playing ARPGs on controller is much more natural to me
it just makes no sense
its like they just have some brainwashed what ever thing in their head preventing them from doing the most obvious thing one would do
enabling an already existent option on another control device xD
