To Install the beta:
Go to blizzard app-> ALLGAMES → D2R. at the bottom left corner there will be GAME Version.
select Beta, and choose path to install.
this was driving me nuts as it is auto set to the main client.

Hey buddy, the game comes out at 1pm EST (do whatever time conversion you need). You can pre-download the beta via blizzard launcher if you’ve already purchased the game. Just make sure you change it to the beta under the game version tab!

You can watch the opening Cinematic too if you open game.exe from the install path.
Still wont connect to server no matter how many times I spam buttons.

thats irrelevant. What I meant is, 6pm (18h00) in the UK is 7pm (19h00) in Norway. 
timezones exist but thats not how they work…
