So I tryed to install D2 today everything worked until I tried to log into Battlenet I got an error message saying cannot verify application version. I tried everything to get this to work today could not find the answer online I tried to compatibility tab run as administrator there’s got to be a way to fix it I just can’t find the answer I would love it if somebody could help me with this!!
Where did you get the game?
Start the game as admin, then let the patch install. Right-click, start as administrator.

I had an install do that. My client was 1.13 I think. I went out to the battle.net site for the 1.14d patch, downloaded it, ran it, and connected just fine.
Got it working. Login to the europe server the game updated then made my account on useast.
