I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but what the heck is going on with the queue’s for creating a game in Diablo 2 right now? It’s murdering the online community, and basically just making no one want to play and just run bots. Was this something blizzard did on purpose or is there something wrong and someone is trying to fix it currently?

I went ahead and checked for you, and was unable to find any reports of queues being an issue, though it does happen from time to time depending on the realm (USWest or USEast) and the time of day. We’re all stuck at home right now in most states so lots of us are online playing games. Hopefully the realm you chose to put your characters on will get free slots soon.
I will make posts in both those forums. This isn’t an issue of more people on at once making games. These problems don’t even happen on ladder reset’s and we’re past the halfway point of this ladder. It’s pretty well enticing everyone to just bot. Also it is 24/7, not at any specific time of the day. It is all day long, every single day.
I also had that problem, but I think it was just due to a lot of players playing… D4 announcement hyped fans again and the old servers probably can’t deal with it.
I don’t think it has to do with players. There are more bots than ever, and less actual players right now than I have ever seen. We’re past the halfway point of this ladder. At the beginning of the ladder when the game has the most players it doesn’t even do this.
