I made it to the rift thing that I wanted to do, but the quest is on my screen that I sometimes click on. How do I abandon a quest?
Quests are listed on left.
Un highlight it to no longer show foot steps for it.
There is a mini “info” icon on the right side of the bar. Click on that and choose “abandon” to remove the bounty from your list.
Now, if you are in an event, just leave the area.
Of course, teleporting to Westmarch should help.
Hmm I’m not seeing the abandon button. It has a navigate button, that’s it, in the info.
It looks like you can abandoned bounties but not all quests. Eg campaign, Guide, heliquery
I just minimize the tab and ignore them. It definitely is Annoying though.

You can not “abandon” any quest you can just stop tracking specific quests like bounties. But if you dont wanna see the quest window you can hide it by clicking the right side of the window (havent tried on mobile but that does work on pc)
