DH "GoD" Feedback

I’ve been testing the GoD set after the improvements for the 2- and 4-piece bonus., and the set finally feels really good to play with no bugs etc.
But I have to say that the damage still is too low after the buff to the 2-piece. With 1400 mainstat in the best speed GR I clear Gr100 in just under 5 minutes, which compared to wirlwind barb 2,5 minutes. My sugestion is to buff the 6-piece to 20k%. In that way you buff the new set and don’t interfere with the UE set.
Lastly the toughness is fine while using Elusive Ring instead of CoE, but for the omptimal setup, I would prefer to buff the 4-piece to 80% damage reduction so it feels better while wearing CoE

GoD - the irony, huh? Sort of like “play your way”.

the toughness number is a freaking lie though, since you are standing still very often, it means you will take a lot of hits that you wouldnt if yo uwere moving around instead.

WW barb actually avoided a lot of the damage thanks to its constant movement.

Look at H90 barb, another set that makes you stand still and attack, using primary as well. It is not doing very well…

Well, personally with the GOD set and 800 paragons I now easily beat 105 on seasonal PTR (haven’t tried higher yet). But a further buff would certainly be welcome.

The power feels ok, but still needs more. The problem is you can’t keep squirts up without a shield, which forces you to take fortress ballista… if they tweak squirts we can squeeze out the damage and leave fortress behind for something more interesting…

Look at the PTR leaderboards. 143 has already been cleared with GoD set. This is already higher than what UE is capable of in this iteration.

The guy who cleared the 143 has 12,000 paragons…I don’t think we can conclude much from this

I expect 12-15,000 will be the modifier for the 6 piece if any buff is added. Will be surprised if its bumped to 20k.

This can be normalized to ~6000p which would be about 3-4 tiers less. I will try a UE HA push soon to see how high that can get now.

Fair

I cleared a GR 135 with 6 keys at 3600 paragon.

It seems to be performing pretty good especially with the little testing I did with high area damage certainly on killing trash or grouping trash around elites for area damage procs…it’s definitely performing better than standard UE/ impale and on par or possibly above lod rapid fire… definitely more fun to play than rapid fire…I hate rapid fire your mainly standing in one place to dps which is what a demon hunter/Amazon class has never been…
I don’t think it will change very much or at all… I would definitely like to see a bigger dps/attack speed buff for impale to compete with crus rgk and one of the forum posts the community manager pez chimed in saying he would pass the word along it’s not on par so there might be hope for this season or probably next season for impale rgk…

Actually, we can conclude some things from the clear. One of the most important is that GR 143 solo is possible in under 14 minutes. With more fishing, it is clear that this build at the very top end will go higher; however, the extent is unknown.

That player had super high paragon, 12/13 items ancient each ancient was augmented with 150 gems, all 3 legendary gems were also 150. The rolls on the gear were also exceptionally good. As such, this player has little room for improvement in terms of gear and main stat, so the main area of “improvement” is fishing. The other key variable is the skill of the player.

Also, you can look at the GR 142 clear which was done by a sub 10K paragon player with worse gear. I predict that the top clear with this build at the end of the next era will be greater than GR 145.

remember AD buff to seasonal buff is considered a bug and will be removed…

I find that Gogok dodge helps waaaay more than it seemingly should.

i am pretty sure someone cleared 142 with around 10k paragon.

also 20k is too much, it needs toughness more than damage imo. i personally thin kthe damage could use a little bit of help maybe 13k, but toughness need some serious boost.

I think because Blizzard bases it’s set on the 5K paragon mark , if someone did clear 142 with 10K paragons, that is probably about right.
I agree 20K is too much. 13K-15K should be enough with a better % of damage reduction when momentum is active should do it.

Wouldn’t Shadow Power : Gloom stack 35% and 60% and be much better “burst” DR?
