Pestilence is one my favor build but very fragile so I use Strength Calsedans sometimes but how about Dexterity for Necromancers? Is there any build or style need it?
Strength and/or Dexterity Caldesans will give armor on any INT class.
Dex used to give Dodge in early D3, but they removed that a very long time ago, and made DEX giving armor, same as STR.
