Correct me if I’m wrong but this passive is awful. I have been away from the game for over five years and it looks like the passives have not changed at all for this class. I highly doubt there are many that use this passive as standing still for five or more seconds in a squishy class is not a good idea most of the time. I am aware there is synergy with rapid fire but I suspect not many use that either. Please shed some light on what is going on with this passive and why the passives are unchanged for such a long time. Thanks.
I think it’s useful with a LoN RF build where you have to stand still anyway. It supposed to be a counter measure against crowd control elite affixes like Frozen and Jailer but now it has no meaning because all there is left is perma-Veng with DH.
Still I’d like it to get buffed somewhat. I’d be happier if it were to grant increasing dodge chance as you hit lower percentages in health yet standing regeneration jars this effect. Each missing 1% health may grant you 0.60% chance to dodge for instance allowing DH to recover but standing and fighting reduces this bonus rapidly. That could give it a lever to make it somewhat popular without requiring you to stand still.
And perhaps… Add Hot Pursuit passive an additional trait where dodge grants you a stable amount of Hatred on proc? This could be a nice to pair with Gogok gem, may even allow DH to pick another Vengeance skillrune besides Seethe.
This way, I believe those two passives will synergize well but still cancel out each other, not disturbing the sense of balance.
Lucky for you then that there are 18 other passives to choose from. Right? If you’ve been away for five years you might wanna take a look at what’s happened with sets and items.
Besides. There is a DH forum more suited for this.
Which like 70% of them are total duds.
Actually 11 of the 18 are quite useful in different builds.
